Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 30 August 2026
This Cancellation Policy explains how cancellation of a paid Premium subscription works for Orralen - Language Voice Tutor ("Orralen").
Orralen is operated by ORRALEN TECHNOLOGIES LTD.
The cancellation process depends on the payment provider through which you purchased Premium.
1. You can cancel a Premium subscription
You may cancel a paid Premium subscription at any time.
Cancellation normally prevents the subscription from renewing for another billing period.
Unless applicable law or the payment provider provides otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period.
Cancellation of a subscription and a refund of an already completed payment are separate actions.
Cancelling a subscription does not automatically create a refund.
2. Access after cancellation
After an ordinary cancellation, Premium access normally remains available until the end of the billing period that has already been paid for.
After that paid period ends, your Orralen account will normally return to the Free plan unless another valid Premium entitlement applies.
The exact subscription expiration time is determined by the applicable payment provider and the subscription status verified by Orralen.
3. Google Play subscriptions
Premium subscriptions purchased through the Orralen Android application are processed using Google Play Billing.
If you purchased Premium through Google Play, you should normally cancel the subscription through the Google Play subscription controls associated with the Google Account used for the purchase.
You can normally manage the subscription through:
- the Google Play app on your Android device; or
- the Google Play subscriptions section associated with your Google Account.
You must use the Google Account through which the Orralen subscription was purchased.
After a normal Google Play cancellation:
- future automatic renewal is stopped;
- you normally keep Premium access until the end of the already-paid billing period; and
- your Orralen account normally returns to the Free plan after the paid entitlement expires.
Google Play controls the billing subscription and its renewal status.
If you cannot locate or cancel your Google Play subscription, you may contact Google Play support or contact Orralen support for assistance identifying the subscription issue.
4. Paddle subscriptions
Premium subscriptions purchased through a supported Orralen desktop or web checkout may be processed through Paddle.
If your subscription was purchased through Paddle, you should normally cancel it through Paddle's subscription-management process.
This may be available through:
- the subscription confirmation or transaction email sent for your purchase;
- the Paddle Buyer Portal; or
- Paddle Buyer Support.
For a normal Paddle cancellation, the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period and you should not be charged for another billing period after the cancellation takes effect.
Premium access normally remains available until the paid subscription period expires.
You may contact Orralen support if you need help with an Orralen-related issue connected with your Paddle subscription.
5. Google Play and Paddle are separate
Google Play and Paddle are separate payment providers.
A subscription purchased through Google Play must normally be managed through Google Play.
A subscription purchased through Paddle must normally be managed through Paddle.
Cancelling a Google Play subscription does not cancel a separate Paddle subscription.
Cancelling a Paddle subscription does not cancel a separate Google Play subscription.
Your Orralen account may recognise Premium access across supported Orralen applications, but the underlying billing subscription remains associated with the payment provider through which it was purchased.
6. Uninstalling Orralen does not cancel a subscription
Uninstalling Orralen does not cancel a paid subscription.
This applies to both supported desktop and mobile applications.
In particular, uninstalling the Orralen Android application does not cancel a Google Play subscription.
If you no longer want a paid subscription to renew, you must cancel it through the payment provider responsible for that subscription.
Simply stopping use of Orralen also does not cancel the subscription.
7. Account deletion does not cancel an external subscription
Deleting or requesting deletion of your Orralen account and cancelling a paid subscription are separate processes.
An Orralen account-deletion request does not automatically cancel a subscription managed by:
- Google Play; or
- Paddle.
If you have an active paid subscription and also want to delete your Orralen account, you should first ensure that the external subscription has been cancelled through the applicable payment provider if you want to prevent future charges.
You may then separately use the Orralen account-deletion process.
Submitting an account-deletion request without cancelling the external subscription may not stop future billing by the payment provider.
8. 7-day Premium registration trial
A new Orralen account receives a 7-day Premium registration trial.
No payment method or purchase is required to start this trial.
The registration trial is provided directly by Orralen.
It is not:
- a Google Play free trial;
- a Google Play introductory offer;
- a Paddle free trial; or
- a paid subscription.
The 7-day registration trial does not automatically renew.
It does not automatically convert into a paid subscription.
It does not automatically result in a charge when it ends.
You therefore do not need to cancel the 7-day registration trial to prevent a payment.
When the registration trial expires, your account normally moves to the Free plan unless you separately purchase Premium.
9. Failed or expired subscriptions
A subscription may also end or become inactive for reasons other than a voluntary cancellation.
For example, the payment provider may change the subscription state because of:
- an unsuccessful payment;
- an expired payment method;
- a refund;
- a revoked transaction;
- a payment dispute;
- a provider action; or
- another billing-related event.
Orralen Premium access is based on the valid subscription or entitlement status confirmed by the Orralen backend.
If the payment provider no longer confirms a valid Premium entitlement, Premium access may end and the account may return to the Free plan.
10. Cancellation does not automatically mean refund
Cancellation is intended to prevent future renewal of the subscription.
It does not normally reverse a payment that has already been completed.
If you want to request a refund for an already completed payment, the request is handled separately under the applicable payment provider's rules, applicable consumer law, and the Orralen Refund Policy.
Nothing in this Cancellation Policy limits any mandatory cancellation, withdrawal, refund, or other consumer right that applies to you under applicable law.
11. If you are still charged after cancellation
If you believe you cancelled your subscription but were charged again, first check:
- which payment provider processed the subscription;
- which Google Account was used, if the purchase was made through Google Play;
- whether the cancellation was completed before the next renewal;
- the effective cancellation or expiration date shown by the payment provider; and
- whether more than one subscription exists.
If the issue involves Google Play, check the subscription status in Google Play.
If the issue involves Paddle, check the subscription information provided by Paddle.
You may also contact Orralen support if you need help investigating the Orralen account or Premium status connected with the transaction.
